Principal's Message

MageeHello Wilson Parents, Students, and Community Members,

We're excited to embark on another journey of academic achievement and fostering a community where a commitment to inclusion ensures that every student feels valued and supported at Wilson Elementary School.

This year, we continue to prioritize academic achievement, with a strong focus on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills across all subject areas.

Our commitment to STEAM education remains steadfast, and we are excited to provide hands-on experiences that inspire innovation and creativity. Whether it’s exploring robotics, coding, dance, visual arts, or the wonders of science, our goal is to ignite your passion for learning through science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.

We are also dedicated to preparing our students for college and future careers, by exploring possible career paths and higher education opportunities, visits to local colleges and universities, and offering resources and guidance to help them set and achieve their goals.

Our primary communication tool is Parent Square. All students and parents are automatically enrolled in Parent Square according to the information provided on the emergency contact card. Please be sure to provide the front office with any updates or changes to your contact information as they occur. You may also follow us on Facebook and Instagram at @LUSDWilsonES for current events, videos, and photos. You may also call the school office Monday-Friday, 8:00 - 3:30 PM at (310) 603-1525 or email me at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.

At the heart of our mission at Wilson Elementary is character development. Our focus on character development, guided by the principles of PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports), encourages respect, optimism, achievement, responsibility, safety, and kindness within our school community. We encourage all students and staff to embody these principles, fostering a school culture where everyone can thrive. Let's make this year our best yet, filled with growth, learning, lasting memories, and success! Welcome back!
