Principal's Message
Hello Wilson Parents, Students, and Community Members,
Welcome to a new and exciting school year! As we begin the 2025–2026 academic year, I am filled with enthusiasm and pride in our commitment to student success. At Wilson Elementary School our focus remains on nurturing the whole child by promoting student achievement, strengthening parent engagement, supporting social-emotional learning, and expanding opportunities in STEAM education.
At the heart of the work at Wilson Elementary School is student achievement. This year, we will continue to set high expectations and challenge our students with rigorous, engaging instruction and provide the support needed for every student to succeed academically. Wilson continues to make academic gains and we remain committed to fostering a learning environment where all students feel seen, heard, and valued—because inclusion is not just a value, it’s a daily practice at Wilson.
At Wilson we also believe that student success is a team effort, and parental and community engagement and involvement is vital. Whether volunteering, attending school events, or staying connected with your child’s progress, your partnership makes a difference. We encourage all families to become and remain actively engaged in our school.
We also recognize the importance of social-emotional learning in building resilience, empathy, and a sense of belonging. Our school will continue to prioritize social emotional learning to help students build confidence, manage emotions, and develop positive relationships.
