so are you all able to see to see the presentation okay great alright so again Welcome to our back-to-school night I know that a lot of the information that I'm going to go over is a review because we have about the information but if you do have any questions teacher can put them in the chat or you can unmute yourself and ask any questions you may have I definitely wanted to just go over just some of the reminders now that we've really jumped into our group instruction on Zoom San Benito glasses display they know I'm a lot of information was also covered in the presentation from Mickey and so the main thing I just wanted to discuss was just some reminders about making sure that the students are just prepared and ready for the whole group life instruction I believe Wisconsin game is Martin. and just some of the things that we've noticed is it's definitely important for the students to be like sitting down preferably like at a table and a chair somewhere other then in their bed I mean we do understand that many parents may have multiple children and so it might be hard to find a place but we definitely noticed that when the students are in the bed it seems like they're more distracted like they want to lay down or start playing and so if possible if they can be sitting somewhere not in their bed is closest to Danville services are at Coastal Center, are you planning that we noticed I know that we I did talk to the parents about making sure that all of the materials were ready for the activities but one of the things we noticed is when the materials are accessible to the student they get really distracted and basically we want the materials to be ready but we don't want the students to have access to them until it's actually time for them to actually start working so maybe we can just like half the material somewhere set aside where did you reach that would be great otra Cosa es que and then the other thing that we also noticed it is some of the parents we make a lot of hand over hand with the students and basically like what we do in the classroom we know that some of the students to need help and so we might help them in the beginning initially time if they need hand over hand assistance but I then we kind of met them do it on their own and so we just want to remind the parents that it's okay to help your child like in the beginning to get started but then after that if you could just please allow them to do some of the work on their own just a weekend what they're capable of doing by themselves La Maison Hotel and then I'm the next reminder is just to try to limit the amount of distractions or no possible just have nothing around that's distracting the students like for example you know we talked students about not eating not drinking during the live instruction not having toys or other objects that the students can you know have access to grab onto her hold because he can be distracting so he's trying not to have anything that they can possibly grab during the whole group instruction La Mesa. and then the last reminder is just a game to just be aware of like the background noise things that are going on in the background again I do understand that you might have multiple children that are in Doom at the same time it's so that may be difficult. Cheese there's like nowhere else that your your child can go maybe if you can put them on mute and then I'm kind of teach them how to mute and unmute because when there is a lot of background noise it's difficult for everybody I remain focused Studio Space Needle e quando a supernova okay and then the last two is just a reminder that we do want the videos to be on so that we can monitor your child's participation of to see if they're working Focus are paying attention and then also if you can make sure to provide some adult supervision periodically like we understand if maybe there's not an adult I can sit next to your child the whole time we do want them to be somewhat independent but maybe his periodically you don't come in and and check on them see how they're doing and see if they're paying attention especially when it comes time to do that Hands-On activities they probably will need some help getting started it's really important at 10 p.m. wisdom when I flip to the next page this is just our our class schedule and I think at this point in time everyone doesn't have any problems with the class schedule looks like everybody is in between 8:45 and 9 so I don't think I need to go over the schedule this is too low. Okay Jesse said that we tried to in on time because I know some of you may have multiple students and you'll need to go jump in on their back to school night as well and so I'll just quickly just go over some of the paperwork that you did receive in the original package I'm that I sent home one of them was just an academic goals and expectations and for the the goals and expectations these are just things that we want them to learn before they enter kindergarten we know some of the students are just years old and that we're not expecting them to learn all of these things but basically before they enter kindergarten these are some of the things like the basic colors Base Exchange County went to 20 and identify some letters binder named I'm selling their names skills like that entonces and a few students they've already mastered like the academic goals like they know colors they know shapes they can count but then they're also course there are lots of other skills that we want them to learn in pre-school I'm definitely like being able to sit down being able to pay attention being able to complete an activity by themselves so there's lots of other skills that we are working on it as well luxottica glasses then one of the other pages that was included in your package is the academic calendar and basically the calendar just described basically what we're learning every month and it covers the whole year so basically if you wanted to know like what we were focusing on you would just look for the day so right now we're in August 31st September 25th our theme is I'm special the season we're going to be talking about I'm pretty soon are shaped as Circle color is yellow or number one into the letters a b c and d so anytime that you just like to know what it is that we're focusing on at that time you can look at the academic calendar aprendiendo Montana stop sharing my screen anyone have any questions that was the the last page for my presentation pregunta okay well thank you parents were for joining us definitely appreciated in the middle of the day it is hard for some parents to be able to join us but we definitely appreciate you joining us today what does that say hello stars look like open yet on the east side Isabel both of you thank you thank you and so that's the end of my presentation and mess anyone has any questions then we guess we will see you tomorrow morning at 8:45 when we log on all right thank you bye bye and thank you Miss a chance lady
