Lynwood Unified Students Honored with Every Student Succeeding Award by Lynwood Educators

Every day, courageous students overcome tremendous obstacles to reach their goals. Their success is admirable. Their stories are powerful. Their experiences are an inspiration to others.

At Lynwood Unified, 20 such students were recently honored with an Every Student Succeeding Award Scholarship by the Lynwood Association of School Administrators for succeeding against all odds or simply winning the hearts of the educators who helped them achieve their goals.

Honorees – who received a scholarship check and award certificate on May 24 – have made a concerted effort to succeed and have overcome obstacles such as returning to school, leaving behind negative influences, improving attendance or behaviors, or overcoming other barriers.
