Subject: Spelling Bee Update

Good Morning,

I just wanted to let you know that according to the District Calendar, the LUSD Spelling Bee will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. My understanding is that this event is open to 4th-6th graders who are the "champs" of your site spelling bees.

The county Spelling Bee will take place on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. The winner of LUSD's Spelling Bee will attend this event held annually in Alhambra.

Please pass this info on to your 4-6 grade teachers.
