Subject: After School Karate

Good Afternoon Principals,

I wanted to let you know that after school karate classes will be offered for two 13 week sessions, with classes convening once a week at elementary sites.

The vendor is California Youth Karate.
Hugo Rojas, of CYK, will contact the principals of schools receiving Session 1 karate classes sometime this week, to introduce himself, drop off registration forms, and meet with you briefly.

I know your calendars are very busy, and each site is managing many different enrichment programs… The idea was in order to have balance, sites that are currently receiving after school ballet, would not have karate until the second session.

The proposed schedule is as follows:

Session 1- Week of November 7, 2016 - Week of February 27, 2017

Serving: Tuesdays Abbott (3:15-4:15) , Keller (4:30-5:15)

Wednesdays Lindbergh (3:15-4:15) , Wilson (4:30-5:15)

Thursdays Lugo (3:15-4:15), and Twain (4:30-5:15)


Session 2- Week of April 6, 2017 - Week of June 5, 2017

Serving: Tuesdays Parks (3:15-4:15), Washington (4:30-5:15)

Wednesdays Lincoln (3:15-4:15), Rogers (4:30-5:15)

Thursdays Roosevelt (3:15-4:15), and Marshall (4:30-5:15)
