Lynwood Unified Honors Staff for Generations of Dedicated Service During Annual Pinning Ceremony

Nearly 200 Lynwood Unified certificated and classified staff were celebrated for their milestone years of service during the District’s annual Years of Service Pinning Ceremony on October 1 at Firebaugh High School.

The celebration recognized teachers, counselors, administrators and support staff who have dedicated 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 or 45 years to the District, highlighting their unwavering commitment to students, families and the school community. Each honoree received a commemorative pin, a certificate and personalized words of appreciation. Additionally, 20 recently retired staff members were recognized with a glass plaque.

"Our staff’s dedication touches every corner of our community, whether inspiring students in the classroom or supporting our schools behind the scenes,” Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Carlos Zaragoza said. “They support our schools in countless ways, and their service strengthens generations of Lynwood families. For that, we are proud to say: We are Lynwood."

Lynwood Unified remains committed to empowering every student to achieve their highest academic and personal aspirations, supported by passionate educators who nurture young minds, inspire a love of learning, and instill values that extend far beyond the classroom.
